The Nocospray Disinfection System has been authorized for sale by Health Canada as a sporicide solution. Spores, like those produced by Clostridioides difficile bacteria are recognized as resistant to disinfectants. According to the generally recognized Spaulding Classification of microbes, spores are second only to prions in their hardiness.
